About the Artists
James Lowe is a virtuoso classical guitarist and the owner and Director of Baltimore School of Music. Lowe was previously an adjunct teacher at Community College of Baltimore County and Guitar Assistant at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University to Manuel Barrueco and Julian Gray.

Cellist Teresa Perez Shirley-Quirk has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including a U.S. Fulbright lectureship to restructure the string department of the National Conservatory of Guatemala. She has been a recording artist for Golden Strings of Hong Kong and First Impression Music in the U.S. (under the name Teresa Perez). Her recording Crossover Cello was named “Best New Recording” by Stereophile Magazine. She has been on the “Twigs” faculty of the Baltimore School for the Arts, The Firelands Symphony School of the Arts (OH) and Heidelberg College in Tiffin (OH), and she has been the principal cellist of several orchestras, including the Wheeling Symphony (WV), the Conductor’s Institute Orchestra in residence at Bard (NY) and Hartt School (CT), and the Filharmonica de Bogota in Colombia, S.A.
