When did you begin piano lessons at BSM?
What do you enjoy most about taking music lessons?
I like to learn new songs.
What’s you favorite part about taking music lessons about BSM?
My teacher, Belinda.
What made you decide to take piano?
My grandfather gave me a keyboard and I really wanted to learn to play in front of other people. I’d like to teach other people how to play piano one day.
What do you like most about playing the piano?
The piano makes a really fun sound.
What’s the easiest part of playing the piano?
It’s easy to learn which keys to use and hand positions.
What’s the most difficult part of playing the piano?
Sometimes I need to look at my hands to make sure I’m playing the right notes.
What’s your favorite piece you’ve played in lessons?
What has been your favorite musical experience at BSM?
I just finished my 1st piano lesson book and I’m excited to move to the next level.
Do you have any advice for people about how to practice at home?
When you first learn a song, say the notes out loud and it will help you. Play through the song 3 times when you are practicing and if you are trying to memorize it, play it 8 times. Also, practice every-other-day.
What do you like about classical music?
Classical music is easier because it’s been around for a long time.
