Biography: Lena Seeger began her musical studies at age 6, and went on to study violin with Tyrone Greive and I Fu Wang. She has performed throughout the Midwest with various orchestral and chamber music ensembles, including the Lansing String Quartet as a founding member. She received scholarships to perform in various festivals including the Duxbury Music Festival, where her ensemble placed first in chamber music. She earned her doctorate for her thesis on Stravinsky’s violin repertoire, which included her own original violin transcription of his piano work, Tango. A dedicated teacher, she has taught violin and piano since 2007.
