Join the BSO for a performance of Aaron Copland's re-known Appalachian Spring, performed with its original Martha Graham choreography. The work "evokes the wide-open landscape and inherent optimism of American possibility." The program will also include a performance of Ravel's "luxurious, flamboyant orchestral showpiece," Daphnis and Chloe Suite No. 2, the world premiere of James Lee III's, Thurgood's Rhapsody (BSO Centennial Commission), and a BSO premiere of Thomas Adès's, Polaris.
