Baltimore School of Music announces the 2019-2020 concert series for Bach in the Brewery, an innovative concert series combining classical music and craft beer, presented by Baltimore School of Music.

The first concert in the series is September 28, 2019, featuring three classical guitarists: James Lowe, Baltimore School of Music Owner and CEO; Isaac Greene, Baltimore School of Music School Manager and a guitar teacher; and Thomas Viloteau, a world-renowned French guitar phenomenon.

The second concert, on May 2, 2020, features a variety of solo piano music performed by Carter McMullen and Dr. Jonathan Graybill, both piano teachers at Baltimore School of Music.

Lowe came up with the idea for the concert series, which launched in May 2018.

“I wanted to create an environment for classical music concerts that is accessible to classical music aficionados and novices alike,” Lowe said. “Classical music is intended to be fun and pleasurable; it isn’t meant to be stuffy.”

Both concerts are at 8 p.m. and will be held at Monument City Brewing Company.
