How long is the school year?
Our school year runs from September 1 through August 31 of the following year. We offer lessons all year; the school year is to simplify scheduling and paperwork.
How are Music Lessons Billed?
Music Lessons are billed on the 1st of each month for the number of lessons that are scheduled for that month. Tuition payments are billed to a credit card on file. We do not accept cash or checks.
What If My Payment Is Late?
Late Tuition Payments will incur a $25 late fee and may result in a hold on your music lessons.
What If I Need to be Absent?
Students can cancel and schedule up to 4 make-up lessons during each school year as long as 24-hours notice is given.
What If I want to stop lessons?
Baltimore School of Music offers flexible music lessons and students can withdraw at the end of any month by submitting our Withdrawal Form by the 15th of that month.
What happens during inclement weather?
Baltimore School of Music may close in cases of inclement weather or emergency. If the school closes due to inclement weather or emergency, students will be offered a virtual lesson as an alternative or will be issued a make-up credit to take place at a later day and time. If the school remains open, even in inclement weather, the student will still be responsible for attending their lesson and no make-up will be offered.
