Baltimore School of Music, located at The Villages of Cross Keys, is a vibrant community music school dedicated to delivering high-quality music education for students of all ages and skill levels. We connect passionate, professional music educators with eager learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Instructional Services
The instructor will:

• Provide private, one-on-one guitar instruction to children, teens, and adults
• Offer music lessons in 30, 45, or 60-minute formats based on student needs
• Maintain their own teaching approach, materials, and lesson structure
• Communicate directly with students and families regarding scheduling, progress, and make-up music lessons

Contractor Requirements

• Demonstrated experience teaching private music lessons in a professional or private setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage an independent teaching schedule
• Teaching liability insurance (must be obtained prior to beginning instruction)
• Reliable availability during agreed-upon teaching times

Independent Contractor Expectations

• Operate as an independent business, maintaining control over teaching methods and student experience
• Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and communication with students while coordinating with Baltimore School of Music’s scheduling and facility guidelines
• Promote and grow your student base within the school’s student pipeline
• Utilize school-provided studio space and resources in a professional manner
• Participate in optional performance opportunities (recitals, events) as appropriate for your students
