Tuition Assistance Program

Baltimore School of Music's Tuition Assistance Program helps make music education accessible to students ages 5–18 by providing 50% tuition coverage for private music lessons. We believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of learning music—regardless of financial circumstances.

What the Scholarship Includes

  • 50% scholarship toward music lessons
  • Waived registration fee
  • Use of a school-owned instrument, if needed and available
  • Free spot in our annual student recital

Who Is Eligible

  • Students ages 5–18
  • All instruments
  • Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain consistent attendance. Missing more than four lessons per year may result in the scholarship being revoked.
  • Income eligibility: Family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) below $75,000 (Form 1040, Line 11)
