Spring Practice Challenge

Friday, May 1, 2026 - Sunday, May 31, 2026

The Spring Practice Challenge is back! From May 1 to May 31, students can log their practice time through their Baltimore School of Music online account to join in the challenge. No need to sign up — just start logging your minutes and you’re in!

Students can earn ribbons by practicing between 5 and 30+ hours over the month, and the top 3 overall practice champions will receive special trophies. All ribbons and trophies will be awarded at the June student recitals, and each student’s practice level will be proudly featured in the recital programs.

Practice Challenge Levels

🏅 Yellow Medal – 5 Hours of Practice
🏅 Green Medal – 10 Hours of Practice
🏅 Blue Medal – 15 Hours of Practice
🏅 Red Medal – 20 Hours of Practice
🏅 Brown Medal – 25 Hours of Practice
🏅 Black Medal – 30+ Hours of Practice
🏆 Trophies – Awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall Winners
